Clay Bar Treatment

Clay Bar Treatment Service

A Clay bar or Claying treatment removes most contaminants from the vehicle's paintwork surface, like tree sap, tar and iron if these are not removed, it will leave your vehicle feeling rough to touch, like sandpaper or small raised particles within the paintwork.

Clay bar restores the paintwork to a smooth, glass-like finish prior to machine polishing or before adding wax or ceramic. It is a treatment that isn't required with every valet we suggest 1 or 2 times a year to keep the paintwork in tip-top condition and will enhance and improve the gloss and shine of the bodywork and leave it feeling like new.

Please note the Clay bar will not remove scratches from the surface as the process contains no abrasives and will not scratch the paintwork if correctly and professionally carried out.

A wax or sealant should always be applied to the paintwork after the Clay bar treatment, as this process will remove any old protection you had in place. Going forward, adding the wax/sealant will certainly help keep the vehicle clean and free from contaminants.

Clay Bar Treatment from £30.00
