Have you ever noticed tiny scratches or swirl marks on your car paintwork after taking it through an automated car wash? Or maybe you've noticed water spots or bird droppings etched into the paint? These imperfections can be frustrating, but fortunately, there's a solution. Paint correction is the process of removing these blemishes and restoring your vehicle's paintwork to a better-than-new finish.
We Specialise In Paint Correction
At JG Valeting, we specialise in paint correction. Paint correction involves using machine polishers and different compound polishers and graded pads. When viewed in direct sunlight, a fully corrected vehicle will show only true reflections with no swirl marks, scratches, or blemishes visible to the naked eye.
If you're looking for a way to make your car look brand new again, paint correction is the answer.
It's important to be able to tell the difference between paintwork that has been truly corrected and paintwork that has been treated with products designed to fill surface imperfections. For example, an all-in-one polish should not be referred to as paint correction, even if no scratches or blemishes are apparent. This is because the underlying scratches and swirls are still present under the product's fillers, which will eventually wash away, revealing them once more. When paintwork is properly corrected, a very fine layer of clear coat is removed along with the permanent scratches and swirls. This leaves behind crystal-clear reflections.
Please note that not all paintwork marks will be able to be removed with this process and you may require a smart repair or a visit to your local paint bodyshop, we are happy to advise you once we have inspected the vehicle.
Our prices start at £300.00 for this service, each paintwork correction is individual due to the size and condition of your vehicle and an exact price will be given upon inspection of the vehicle and a price will be agreed before we start the detail on your vehicle.
