Do I really need a snow foam treatment?
If you are serious about your paintwork, then yes, you do.
We always recommend a foam pre-wash is carried out before any valet. Snow Foam is a pre-wash cleaner that is designed to remove excess grime, lifting dirt away from the exterior surface. By not carrying it out, you are increasing the chances of scratching the paintwork by rubbing around dirt and other contaminants.
After the snow foam treatment all exterior contaminants are fully rinsed away with clean water before a washing mitt even touches the paintwork, thus reducing the risk of light scratching during subsequent safe washing.
Some of our bigger valeting packages include this snow foam treatment, if this service isn't part of your valeting package, it can easily be added to any exterior valet at an additional fee; please enquire before your valet commences as it needs to be carried out at the early stages of your valet.
We currently use GTECHNIQ W4 Citrus Foam and Snow foam Pro, both are a pH-neutral formula that removes hard-to-shift grime without damaging sealants, existing coatings or waxes. Both combine an effective citrus degreaser with a strong foaming agent making it tough on road grime and bug spatters; both are kind to paintwork waxes and protective coatings.
