The Virus & Bacteria Eliminator kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria in a single treatment. It is suitable for both fabric and leather vehicle interiors.
How It Works
The Virus and Bacteria Eliminator release a measured dose of dry Chlorine Dioxide gas. Chlorine Dioxide is most commonly used in water treatment and food sanitation and is proven to destroy viruses and bacteria in the air and on surfaces.
The gas released will sanitise all areas of your vehicle without the need to wipe it down. This reduces the risk of contracting and spreading infection.
How much Chlorine Dioxide is required to kill viruses and bacteria
Studies have found that 0.1ppm of Chlorine Dioxide over a 3-hour period destroys viruses such as SARS and bacteria such as E-Coli. This product releases a Chlorine Dioxide concentration much above this threshold over a more extended period.
Please note we require 8 hours to complete this treatment and the vehicle must remain locked at all times with no access. We usually carry out this treatment overnight whilst the vehicle is parked on your driveway/road.
What Will My Car Smell Like After This Treatment?
You will notice a chlorine-type, post-treatment smell which will dissipate in a few days and leave your car smelling neutral. This smell is not harmful, and your car can be used as normal.
Fragrance can be added once completed.
After the treatment, your vehicle will be sanitised, but it will have a slight smell of chlorine for a few days. This is the perfect time to fragrance your vehicle with a fragrance from a wide range available ie, new leather, fresh lemon, Oud gold and crisp linen.
